Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a diligent asset protection team member to help safeguard customers, team members, and vendors. You will inspect facilities, monitor for potential hazards, and maintain detailed incident documentation.

Responsibilities include conducting shoplifting and internal theft surveillance, reviewing alarm systems, and assisting in the prosecution of theft cases while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect building exterior/parking lot to mitigate hazards.
• Conduct walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Review cashier exception reports and theft activity.
• Testify in court proceedings as required and document incidents thoroughly.
