Job summary

Marion Goodwill Industries is seeking a Textile Processor in Lewis Center, OH to sort, price, and prepare donated apparel for the sales floor. The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting production targets while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will interact with donors and shoppers, identify brands and quality levels, and help maintain clean, organized processing areas. This is a hands-on, team-oriented position aligned with Goodwill’s mission.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized, and motivated.
• Ability to sort, price, and hang donated apparel.
• Stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with donors and shoppers
• Sort, price, and hang donated apparel and textiles
• Recognize brand names, designer labels, and quality to ensure accurate pricing
• Inspect clothing for stains, tears, missing buttons, or defects before placing on the sales floor
• Maintain production goals of 80+ pieces per hour and ensure efficient processing
• Keep processing and sorting areas clean, safe, and organized
• Assist with apparel rotation, dressing room upkeep, and merchandise placement as needed
• Follow all Goodwill safety, security, and operational policies
