Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a retail ambassador in Elloree, SC to serve as the primary liaison between our Supply Chain Campuses and the retail locations they support. You will manage day-to-day operations, schedule meetings, and identify education and process improvement opportunities to enhance store operations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on service levels, with daily and weekly touchpoints to drive performance across the campus

Qualifications

• 1 year of Distribution, Transportation, or Retail experience.
• Working knowledge of Distribution, Transportation, and/or Retail operations.
• Basic computer and clerical skills.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of operations and external partners.

PRIMARY PURPOSE

As a retail ambassador, you will be the primary point of contact between our Supply Chain Campuses and the Retail locations they support. You will have day to day operational interaction and support with retail, schedule ongoing meetings and conferences between the groups, and identify areas for education and improvements in common procedures

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication (Daily)

• Function as point person to receive calls and communications from retail partners.
• Forward concerns promptly to appropriate areas within the operation or relevant subject matter experts.
• Communicate any variance or information that may impact store operations to retail location leadership.

Connection (Weekly)

• Report out to campus leaders on current trends and consistent areas of concern in order to help create improved relationships and performance
• Schedule regular meetings for all levels of leadership to interact with partners in retail
• Schedule regular store visits for campus leadership team

Education

• As a result of feedback from daily and weekly activities, schedule and create educational opportunities to advance cross functional understanding between the campuses and retail locations
• Engage subject matter experts to conduct classes
• Create opportunities and schedule retail visits to local campuses for team building and classroom-based education.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of Distribution, Transportation, or Retail experience
• Working knowledge of Distribution, Transportation, and/or Retail operations
• Basic computer and clerical skills
• Ability to communicate to all levels of operations and external partners

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years' experience in Distribution, Transportation, or Retail
• 1 year of clerical or specialist position experience
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
