Job summary

Salomon Group is seeking a Retail Allocator to manage allocation and replenishment across a growing store network in North America. You will drive inventory efficiency, ensure in-stock positions, and partner with planning, merchandising, and store teams.

You will build scalable allocation routines, produce reliable reporting, and support store performance through data-driven decisions to enable successful retail expansion.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail allocation, merchandise planning support, or inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and take action.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with allocation or planning systems preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and execution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute initial product allocations based on predefined assortment strategies, store volumes, and regional demand patterns.
  • Manage weekly replenishment to stores, ensuring optimal stock levels and product availability.
  • Monitor sales, sell-through, and inventory to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Rebalance inventory across stores to mitigate stockouts and reduce excess stock.
  • Identify slow-moving inventory and recommend actions to improve sell-through.
  • Produce and maintain reporting on sales, inventory levels, and stock health.
  • Provide insights on store performance, product movement, and replenishment effectiveness.
  • Highlight risks and opportunities to planning, merchandising, and retail teams.
  • Partner with retail planning, merchandising, and supply chain teams to align on inventory priorities.
  • Work closely with store operations to support in-store execution and inventory needs.
  • Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and allocation precision.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

Allocation & Inventory Management

  • Execute initial product allocations based on predefined assortment strategies, store volumes, and regional demand patterns
  • Manage weekly replenishment to stores, ensuring optimal stock levels and product availability
  • Monitor sales, sell-through, and inventory to identify risks and opportunities
  • Rebalance inventory across stores to mitigate stockouts and reduce excess stock
  • Identify slow-moving inventory and recommend actions to improve sell-through

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce and maintain reporting on sales, inventory levels, and stock health
  • Provide insights on store performance, product movement, and replenishment effectiveness

Cross-Functional Collaboration
