Job summary

Equinox Fitness Club is seeking an Allocator, Retail to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time across our club network. You will execute allocation strategies, analyze sales trends, and partner with Planning, Buying, Distribution, and Club teams to optimize inventory and enhance member shopping experiences.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, advanced Excel skills, and collaboration across departments to maximize sales and minimize excess inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail allocation, merchandise planning, inventory management, or related analytical retail function.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data to make sound decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with allocation, planning, or retail ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Execute allocation and replenishment strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels across all retail locations.
• Analyze sales trends, inventory performance, and demand to make timely allocation decisions.
• Monitor product performance and rebalance inventory to maximize sales opportunities and minimize excess inventory.
• Partner with Buying, Planning, Distribution, and Club Operations teams for launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
• Identify allocation risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to improve inventory productivity and business performance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and allocation reporting while ensuring data integrity across systems.
• Support the execution of inventory strategies that enhance the member shopping experience and achieve financial goals.
