Description

PromptCare is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Resupply Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients in the respiratory and enteral nutrition industry, specifically with disposable supplies. The Resupply Representative processes inbound orders from referral sources and patient requests via calls, faxes, e‑mails, and online ordering portals. You must be proficient in all phases of insurance data collection, verification, and authorization.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sales orders for resupply needs, including oxygen, ventilator, tracheostomy, and enteral nutrition.
• Verify insurance and update patient files, including demographics and benefit information.
• Manage patient prescriptions and request prior authorization when necessary.
• Communicate with patients and providers via telephone, e‑mail, and web portals.
• Develop working knowledge of Brightree, Document EMR Management, Microsoft Office, MS Teams, McKesson, Cardinal, and other relevant applications.
• Document new referrals and subsequent patient admissions from start to finish in accordance with PromptCare’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain productivity metrics and fulfill related responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or some college preferred).
• Work experience in a Respiratory Home Durable Medical Equipment company.
• Strong PC skills, especially the MS Office suite.

Physical Demands

Employee must communicate verbally, listen attentively, and spend prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or standing as needed are also required.
