Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Practice Group in a hybrid New York location. You will work on complex domestic and cross-border restructuring matters, distressed financings, and special situations transactions in a sophisticated, fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, 3–7 years in restructuring or related fields, and strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3–7 years of substantive experience in restructuring, bankruptcy, and/or special situations finance transactions.
• Familiarity with Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and liability management transactions
• Experience representing creditors, debtors, sponsors, or financial institutions in distressed scenarios
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Large law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex restructuring and insolvency matters, in-court and out-of-court
• Advise creditors, debtors, and investors in distressed and special situations financings
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, restructuring support agreements, and related transaction documents
• Support liability management transactions, recapitalizations, and distressed M&A opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, corporate, and litigation attorneys
