Job description

A highly regarded, full-service law firm is seeking a Restructuring Associate to join its Kansas City office. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-stakes restructuring and insolvency matters, advising debtors, creditors, lenders, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders on complex financial challenges. Matters may include Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, distressed transactions, creditor negotiations, bankruptcy-related litigation, and business reorganizations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate to develop their expertise within an established restructuring practice, working alongside experienced attorneys on complex matters involving financial distress, debt restructuring, and strategic business reorganizations. Associates will have the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, engage directly with clients, and contribute to commercially focused solutions on challenging transactions and proceedings.

Requirements:
