Job summary

G2 Capital Advisors, a Boston-based investment bank, seeks an Associate for its Insolvency & Fiduciary Services team. The role focuses on preserving asset value, maximizing recovery, and reducing risk during wind-downs and restructurings. Hybrid model with 4 days in-office at the Boston, MA location.

You will manage workstreams, oversee vendors and internal teams, contribute to market materials, and support M&A processes while developing junior staff and delivering client-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in restructuring, consulting, private equity, private credit, commercial banking, investment banking, or accounting environments.
• Familiarity with turnaround or restructuring services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Navigate distress situations to preserve value, maximize recovery, and reduce risk.
• Manage day-to-day workstreams, deadlines, and junior resources.
• Coordinate with vendors, external professionals, and internal teams to deliver client-ready outputs.
• Assist with M&A processes, data room organization, NDA processing, and market materials.
