The Bridge Institute in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Restorative Practices Facilitator to support school communities with restorative circles, referrals, and ongoing practice coaching. This part-time, in-person role runs during the RCPSD school calendar year.
Responsibilities include facilitating student-to-student conflict resolution, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to expand restorative opportunities within Roanoke City Public Schools.
The Bridge Institute offers mediation services and more, serving the Greater Roanoke and New River Valleys as well as Southwest Virginia. Our mission is to provide efficient, well-designed processes to prevent violence, resolve disputes, cultivate cooperation, and restore relationships.
The Restorative Practices Facilitator (RPF) supports collaboration, connection and community wellbeing within the Roanoke City Public School District . The RPF is an integral part of supporting and developing the implementation of RJ philosophy and practice in the school community while supporting the overall mission and operation of the Bridge Institute. This position runs during the regular RCPSD school calendar year. This position is in person, no remote work available.
