Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare in Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Restorative Aide to join our skilled nursing team. You will work closely with nursing and therapy staff to help residents maintain and improve mobility, strength, independence, and the ability to participate in everyday activities.

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in TN with a genuine desire to care for seniors. Previous experience in a skilled nursing setting is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a TN Certified Nursing Assistant with current certification.
• Desire to care for seniors and improve quality of life.
• Strong attendance and dependability.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team.
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative nursing programs and individualized care plans.
• Support residents with walking, range-of-motion exercises, positioning, transfers, and other restorative activities.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote independence and quality of life.
• Provide compassionate, respectful assistance while honoring each resident’s dignity.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ abilities, condition, or level of participation.
• Document restorative activities accurately and timely.
• Work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, activities, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection-control practices.
