Qualifications:

• 1 year or more clinical, bedside CNA experience
• Able to read, write, and speak effectively
• Able to type and use computer equipment and software
• Good physical health condition and pass a physical examination

Other duties may be assigned:

• Provides and assists with restorative programs such as ROM, ambulation, bed mobility, and more
• Participates in, supports, and adheres to the philosophies of the restorative nursing program
• Documents program completion and progress notes as required
• Attends restorative meetings and care plan conferences
• Reports resident care issues and equipment needs promptly
• Supports team management of bowel and bladder programs
• Contributes to development of interdisciplinary care plans
• Participates in inservices and quality assurance activities
• Performs delegated therapy tasks as supervised
• Responds to call lights, assists with feeding, and transports residents
• Ensures residents’ rights and reports changes or incidents
• Maintains infection control standards
• Follows policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
