Job Description
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- At least 1 year of clinical, bedside CNA experience
- Effective reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Ability to type and use computer software
- Good physical health and pass a physical exam
Other duties may include:
- Providing and assisting with restorative programs such as ROM, ambulation, bed mobility, and transfer techniques
- Application of splints, braces, prosthetic devices, and limb care
- Moist heat therapy, assistive feeding devices, and restorative dining
- Assisting with activities of daily living and incontinence management
- Transferring residents, communicating effectively, and supporting restorative care programs
- Documenting care and participating in care planning and team meetings
- Reporting resident issues and equipment needs promptly
- Supporting team management of bowel and bladder programs
- Participating in training, quality assurance, and maintaining current skills
- Responding to call lights, serving food, transporting residents, and ensuring resident rights and safety
- Following infection control standards and facility policies
- Performing delegated therapy tasks and other duties as assigned
