Job Description

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification
• At least 1 year of clinical, bedside CNA experience
• Effective reading, writing, and speaking skills
• Ability to type and use computer software
• Good physical health and pass a physical exam

Other duties may include:

• Providing and assisting with restorative programs such as ROM, ambulation, bed mobility, and transfer techniques
• Application of splints, braces, prosthetic devices, and limb care
• Moist heat therapy, assistive feeding devices, and restorative dining
• Assisting with activities of daily living and incontinence management
• Transferring residents, communicating effectively, and supporting restorative care programs
• Documenting care and participating in care planning and team meetings
• Reporting resident issues and equipment needs promptly
• Supporting team management of bowel and bladder programs
• Participating in training, quality assurance, and maintaining current skills
• Responding to call lights, serving food, transporting residents, and ensuring resident rights and safety
• Following infection control standards and facility policies
• Performing delegated therapy tasks and other duties as assigned
