Job summary

Avantara Aurora in Aurora, IL, is seeking Restorative Nursing Aide to join a caring team delivering high-quality resident care. You will assist with mobility exercises, ADLs, and use assistive devices under individualized care plans to restore mobility and promote wellbeing.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, an Illinois CNA certificate, CPR certification, and 1 year RN A experience preferred; we’ll train the right candidate. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Illinois CNA certificate and CPR certification.
• One year of RNA experience preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobility exercises and assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
• Assist residents in using assistive devices and maintain safety.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and documentation as required.

As a Restorative Nursing Aide you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Aurora by performing mobility exercises for our residents in accordance with their individualized care plan, assisting residents attain the highest physical and emotional wellbeing possible by restoring mobility, performing Activities of Daily Living, assisting residents with assistive devices, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Illinois C.N.A. certificate and C.P.R. certification. One (1) year of R.N.A experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
