Job summary

Warren Barr South Loop in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Restorative Nurse Aide (CNA) to help residents regain mobility and support daily living activities. You will implement mobility exercises per each resident's care plan and assist with ADLs while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Illinois CNA certificate.
• At least 1 year of CNA work experience.
• One year restorative CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobility exercises per individualized care plan.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
• Observe changes in condition and report to supervisor.
• Ensure a safe environment and proper use of assistive devices.
• Provide ongoing education and support to residents.

As a Restorative Nurse Aide CNA, you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Warren Barr South Loop by performing mobility exercises for our residents in accordance with their individualized care plan, assisting residents attain the highest physical and emotional wellbeing possible by restoring mobility, performing Activities of Daily Living, assisting residents with assistive devices, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois C.N.A. certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Illinois Accredited C.N.A. training course;
• At least one year of work experience as a CNA;
• One year prior Restorative Nurse Aide experience is preferred.
