The Pearl Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Restorative Nurse Director in Aurora, IL. The role focuses on leading the restorative nursing program and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as RN or LPN in Illinois.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Proficient organizational skills and computer literacy are expected.
• Knowledge of MDS process is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and information for patients, families and staff.
• Develop, implement, direct and evaluate the Restorative Nursing Program.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain restorative care standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and national restorative nursing standards.
• Perform or supervise restorative care tasks as needed.
• Conduct falls, restraints, and assessments for new admissions and periodically.
• Complete clinical documentation for all restorative care.
• Assist the Director of Nursing to uphold quality standards of care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Embody the company standard as a high-quality care provider.
• Provide support, recognition, information for patients, families and staff.
• Develop, implement, direct and evaluate the Restorative Nursing Program.
• Consult with the interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain restorative care standards.
• Ensure that the restorative nursing program complies with applicable laws, regulations, and national restorativenursing standards and requirements.
• Perform or supervise the performance of restorative care.
• Performs fall, restraint, and assessment upon new admissions, quarterly, and as needed.
• Complete clinical documentation for all restorative care.
• Work in conjunction with the Director of Nursing to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and facility standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Licensed (RN/LPN) in the state of Illinois (Required)
• Must be knowledgeable of the MDS process.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
