Job summary

The Bridge Middle School Program at EQA Schools in New Orleans seeks a dedicated Middle School Teacher. The program pairs a teacher with a counselor to meet students’ behavioral, mental health, and academic needs, delivering individualized instruction in a small classroom setting.

Responsibilities include project-based lessons, differentiation, and ongoing progress monitoring. A BA/BS is required; Louisiana certification is preferred but not required. Start July 2026.

Qualifications

• Create high-quality lessons across 4 content areas for 7th & 8th grade.
• Deliver instruction using project-based learning and multiple modalities.
• Differentiate lessons, assessments and supports for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Build transformative relationships to support student growth.
• Assess and monitor student progress at individual and course levels.
• Continuously develop teaching craft and adapt strategies.
• Collaborate with counselors, specials and leaders to ensure accommodations.
