Job summary

The Restorative Justice Coordinator will lead the implementation and oversight of restorative justice practices within a secure juvenile justice facility in Washington, GA. The role focuses on healing-centered dialogue, accountability, and reintegration among youth, staff, victims, and families.

Collaborate with facility leadership, case managers, security, and behavioral health staff to embed restorative principles into culture and disciplinary processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of job-related experience.
• Experience in restorative justice, conflict resolution, or juvenile justice settings preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and youth development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage restorative justice programs for youth in secure confinement.
• Facilitate restorative circles and victim-offender dialogues.
• Collaborate with caseworkers and mental health staff to support accountability and emotional development.
• Provide training to staff on restorative practices and trauma-informed care.
• Maintain confidential case records and prepare reports for leadership.
