Restorative & Functional Maintenance Nursing Assistant (RFM-NA)

Join us as a Restorative & Functional Maintenance Nursing Assistant (RFM-NA) at Broad River Rehab.

Position Details

Location: Johnson City, TN / Tennessee
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000.00
Schedule: Day shift, full-time, Monday through Friday, with additional hours available on Saturday.

Role Overview

The RFM-NA provides restorative nursing care and functional maintenance services to residents, aligning with their assessment and care plan. May also act as Rehab Tech to support rehabilitative therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document all restorative and functional maintenance activities accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly documentation as per program guidelines under supervision.
  • Collaborate with therapists and nursing staff to establish goals and interventions.
  • Follow safety protocols and assist in patient transport and care as directed.
  • Maintain therapy equipment and communicate patient condition changes to licensed personnel.
  • Build strong relationships with staff, patients, and families, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Current TN State Certified CNA certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance (if applicable).
  • Current physical exam and free from communicable diseases as required by law.
Physical and Behavioral Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry, reach, push, and pull frequently.
  • Must relate well to elderly, disabled, and emotionally upset individuals.
  • Demonstrate high work ethic, dependability, and strong communication skills.
