42 North Dental, a Portland, ME-based practice, seeks a dentist to lead the patient’s clinical journey from exam to care delivery. The role includes in-office specialty services such as periodontics and orthodontics within a restorative and aesthetic focus.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B verified.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options and treatments.
• Maintain patient records and review treatment plans with patients.
• Review, interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.
