Pivotal Health Care is seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to join our team at Colonial Village in Overland Park, KS. This role provides direct care to residents and supports restorative therapy activities as prescribed, with both part-time and full-time scheduling options.

Qualified candidates will have CNA certification, BLS, and strong interpersonal skills, plus the ability to work independently and in a team environment while maintaining compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience, especially in rehabilitation or therapy.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physical stamina to lift and move patients.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Empathy and patience with residents recovering from illness or injury.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily exercises and activities as prescribed by therapists.
• Support residents in activities of daily living to increase independence.
• Monitor and document resident progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss resident progress and care plans.
• Help transport and transfer residents as needed to ensure participation in activities.
