Job summary

Autumn Care of Portsmouth is seeking a Restorative CNA to provide compassionate, hands-on care in a skilled nursing facility located at 3610 Winchester Drive, Portsmouth, VA 23707. You will support residents’ physical needs, participate in restorative programs, and work under the guidance of the community’s nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing in the state you work in.
• High school diploma or GED or active enrollment in a high school program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment and attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort in a SNF setting.
• Deliver emotional and social support and participate in restorative programs and activities.
• Follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
• Perform duties as directed by supervisors and community leadership.
