Job summary

NHC HealthCare Somerville in Somerville, TN is hiring a Restorative Aide / CNA to support mobility and activities of daily living, implementing restorative nursing plans under supervision of the nursing team.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. schedule, a pay rate around $15 per hour depending on experience, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Join a compassionate, team-centered environment focused on dignity and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Previous CNA experience preferred
• Restorative nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus
• Must have an interest in working with geriatric and rehabilitation patients
• Ability to follow individualized restorative nursing plans and established procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused
• Must share NHC's values of honesty and integrity and have a heart for serving others

Responsibilities

• Range of motion exercises
• Ambulation and exercise programs
• Mobility assistance, including wheelchairs and walkers
• Activities of daily living
• Bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Bladder and bowel programs

• Sensory stimulation
• Encouraging patients to achieve and maintain their highest practicable level of independence and functioning
• Documenting restorative care and patient participation as required
• Communicating changes in a patient's condition or abilities to the appropriate nursing staff
• Assisting the restorative nursing team with equipment and resources used in patient programs
• Providing compassionate, respectful care while maintaining patient dignity and safety
