Cambridge Care Center in Lakewood, CO is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to perform restorative nursing procedures and support resident independence. You will assist with therapy, document progress, and participate in care planning in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in restorative nursing procedures to maximize resident independence.
• Maintain treatment records, resident files, and progress notes.
• Prepare residents for treatment and administer restorative care per policy.
• Instruct and supervise residents during therapy.
• Inform residents about consequences of non-participation and document in records.
• Participate in discharge planning and care plan development.
• Report changes in resident status to supervisor.
• Clean common areas and assist with duties as assigned.

Restorative, CNA Summary:

The primary responsibility of your job position is to assist in performing restorative nursing procedures that maximize the resident's existing abilities, emphasize independence, and minimize the negative effects of disability with an attitude of realistic optimism. You are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining a current file, treatment records, resident files, and progress notes of residents treated
• Review request form for restorative care and physicians' orders
• Prepare resident for treatment by dress/position and administer restorative care in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Assist with instructing and supervising resident during therapy
• Inform the resident of consequences of not participating in prescribed therapy and document such action in the resident's clinical record
• Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments, etc., as necessary
• Reports changes in resident status, health or otherwise, to supervisorResponsible for cleaning common areas, occupied and vacant apartments in accordance with FMI policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and certification from an accredited nursing program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License for the state of Colorado or the ability to convert to a Colorado License within 30 days of hire.
• PCC (Point Click Care) experience is a plus.
• Current CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current proof of a Flu Vaccination within the last 12 months.
• COVID VACCINE OR QUALIFYING EXEMPTION REQUIRED
• Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check
