Job summary

Cambridge Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our restorative care team in Colorado. The role focuses on restorative nursing procedures that promote resident independence and quality of life, with duties across treatment preparation, therapy supervision, documentation, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and certification from an accredited nursing program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License for the state of Colorado or the ability to convert to a Colorado License within 30 days of hire.
• CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• COVID vaccine or qualifying exemption required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check including Colorado CAPS background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in restorative nursing procedures to maximize residents' independence.
• Maintain current files, treatment records, resident files, and progress notes.
• Prepare residents for treatment by dress/position and administer restorative care per policies.
• Instruct and supervise residents during therapy.
• Inform residents about consequences of not participating and document in the clinical record.
• Participate in discharge planning and care plans, assessments, and related processes.
• Report changes in resident status to supervisor and assist with policy-compliant facility cleaning.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Restorative, CNA Summary:

The primary responsibility of your job position is to assist in performing restorative nursing procedures that maximize the resident's existing abilities, emphasize independence, and minimize the negative effects of disability with an attitude of realistic optimism. You are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining a current file, treatment records, resident files, and progress notes of residents treated
• Review request form for restorative care and physicians' orders
• Prepare resident for treatment by dress/position and administer restorative care in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Assist with instructing and supervising resident during therapy
• Inform the resident of consequences of not participating in prescribed therapy and document such action in the resident's clinical record
• Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments, etc., as necessary
• Reports changes in resident status, health or otherwise, to supervisorResponsible for cleaning common areas, occupied and vacant apartments in accordance with FMI policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and certification from an accredited nursing program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License for the state of Colorado or the ability to convert to a Colorado License within 30 days of hire.
• PCC (Point Click Care) experience is a plus.
• Current CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current proof of a Flu Vaccination within the last 12 months.
• COVID VACCINE OR QUALIFYING EXEMPTION REQUIRED
• Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check
