Job summary

Redwood Grove Post Acute in Santa Cruz, CA, seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to perform restorative nursing procedures, maximize resident independence, and support comfort under supervision. Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN, LPN, or LVN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in restorative care; training in rehabilitative/restorative therapy.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret restorative care programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct restorative care services.
• Review policies and participate in quality assurance activities for restorative care.
• Participate in discharge planning and development of resident care plans and MDS.
• Provide guidance and training for new and less experienced personnel.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and coordination with departments.
