Job summary

Resorts at Pooler, a respected nursing home in Pooler, Georgia, seeks a compassionate Restorative Aide CNA to join our care team.

You will assist residents with ADLs, participate in restorative therapies under licensed nurses, and help develop individualized care plans while maintaining safety and high-quality documentation. A CNA certification and prior long-term care experience are preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide restorative care to residents under the supervision of licensed nurses, focusing on ADLs and restorative therapies.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises, ambulation, and other restorative therapies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Promote resident safety and prevent falls by implementing safety measures and reporting concerns to supervisors.
