Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. seeks a Restorative Care Aide (RCA) to support licensed clinicians in Habilitation Services. The role involves assisting with therapies, documentation, and program delivery under supervision. It is an hourly, non-exempt position with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Shifts run 7:30am–6pm, Monday through Thursday. The RCA collaborates with staff to implement treatment plans and ensure safety and quality in care delivery across residents and facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) or equivalent medical background.
• Two or more years of rehabilitation experience with licensed professionals preferred.
• Completion of a Restorative or Rehabilitation Nurse Training Program preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Requires CPR and Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes basic medical/nursing/therapeutic knowledge to conduct maintenance-based programming.
• Supports client care delivery per established standards and facility policies.
• Arranges Restorative Services based on residents' schedules and plan of care.
• Promotes open communication with the Interdisciplinary Team regarding plans and progression.
• Provides training on proper lifting, positioning, and safe equipment use.
• Manages documentation such as 90-day reviews and treatment notes.
• Assists with organization of HSD clinics and infection control programs.
