Job summary

Sandridge Post Acute in Mesa, AZ seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to assist residents with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing and daily activities, promoting independence.

You will document care, support the Therapy Department with range of motion exercises, and report changes to the Charge Nurse and Nursing Supervisor. CPR certification, Restorative Aide training, and high school diploma or equivalent are required; one year in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification and Restorative Aide Training.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation and ROM.
• Provide hygiene care including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with daily activities and meals to promote independence.
• Document care and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support Therapy Department with ROM exercises as needed.
