Job summary

Dignity Health—Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA is seeking a Restorative Aide to promote residents’ independence and safety. You will implement restorative care plans, assist residents with exercises and activities, and support their self-care and mobility to enhance quality of life.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year as a CNA, CA certification upon hire, and current BLS-CPR. This on-site role supports therapists and care teams in a long-term care or rehabilitative setting.

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year experience as a CNA.
• Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS-CPR, within 30 Days.

Responsibilities

• Supports Therapists in delivering restorative patient care and reports observations to charge nurse and therapists.
• Assists in planning patient care, evaluates patients for the care plan, MDS, and restorative feeding program.
• Ensures timely weekly summaries and notifies relevant disciplines of changes in condition.
• Provides training and in-services to new employees and updates on safety techniques.
• Complies with safety, infection control, and organizational policies; adheres to dress code and attendance policies.
• Acts to support the organization's mission and demonstrates good time management.
