Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) seeks a Restorative Aide to support residents with restorative therapies in a long-term care setting. You will assist with mobility, positioning, ADLs, and feeding support, while documenting participation and communicating changes to the care team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care for older adults, adherence to HIPAA, teamwork with Rehab Director and interdisciplinary staff, and opportunities for growth within a compassionate company culture.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a care setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out restorative programs including ROM, mobility, positioning, and ADLs.
• Document resident participation and outcomes.
• Provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team on status changes.
• Attend facility training or meetings as requested.
• Coordinate workload with Rehab Director.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines for resident privacy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Carryout designated restorative programs with identified residents including but not limited to:
  • Range of Motion
  • Splint or Brace Assistance (Amputation/Prosthetic Care)
  • Functional Mobility (transfers, bed mobility and ambulation)
  • Positioning
  • Activities of Daily Living (Dressing, grooming, bathing and toileting)
  • Eating and/or swallowing (Restorative/Assisted Dining/Free Water)
  • Other; may include: communication, breath support and wellness
• Document resident attendance and participation in designated programs.
• Provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team on status changes of residents receiving therapy.
• Attending facility or TMC training or meetings as requested.
• Schedule and prioritize workload with collaboration from Rehab Director.
• Follow HIPPA guidelines in relation to resident privacy.
• Other duties as assigned.
