Sandy Springs Center for Nursing and Healing LLC is seeking a Restorative Aide to coordinate and provide restorative nursing care for residents. Under the rehabilitation and nursing departments, you will maximize physical functioning and emotional well-being for residents.

The ideal candidate is a Certified Nursing Assistant with restorative nursing knowledge and strong communication skills, capable of daily visits and maintaining progress notes.

Qualifications

• CNA with restorative nursing philosophy/procedures experience.
• Ability to positively interact with residents, families, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, direct, and participate in restorative programs for residents.
• Facilitate transitions from rehab to restorative programs.
• Maintain progressive documentation of restorative care for residents.
• Visit residents daily to ensure program productivity.

Overview of the Restorative Aide Role:

As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in coordinating, implementing, and providing restorative nursing care for all residents. Working under the direction of the rehabilitation and nursing departments, you'll be responsible for maximizing and maintaining the physical functioning and emotional wellness of our residents. Your additional responsibilities include:

• - Overseeing, directing, and participating in restorative programs for individual residents.
• - Facilitating the transition of residents from skilled rehab services to restorative progressive and preventative programs.
• - Maintaining restorative nursing progress/documentation records for all participating residents.
• - Visiting each resident daily and as needed to ensure the program's productivity.

Job Requirements:

• - Certified Nursing Assistant with experience and/or knowledge of restorative nursing philosophy/procedures.
• - Ability to positively interact with everyone from residents to government agencies and the general public.
