Job summary

Apex Restoration DKI is seeking a Restoration Water Mitigation Technician in Georgetown, TX. This on-site role requires prior mitigation experience and may prefer IICRC WRT certification. You will join a fast-moving team focused on safety, quality, and effective restoration operations.

Responsibilities include site demolition, equipment setup, directing laborers, and documentation. Candidates should be able to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders, and pass background checks with drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience in mitigation is required.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred but will train the right person.
• Knowledge of insurance claim procedures is a plus.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to enter confined spaces and climb ladders.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• No felony convictions.

• Report to the Mitigation Project Manager and assist in daily scheduling.
• Demolition, setting drying equipment, and other assigned tasks on site.
• Direct laborers and document hours to ensure proper pay.
• Notify Superintendent when tasks are complete for payment processing.
• Stock work vehicles and ensure laborers have supplies.
• Maintain a neat, OSHA-compliant job site and follow Apex policies.

Mitigation Technicians

• Report to the Mitigation Project Manager, attend daily meetings to determine the daily schedule, and complete assignments for the day
• Are responsible on the job site for demolition, setting drying equipment, and other assigned tasks
• Direct laborers in their daily tasks and document their hours worked to ensure they get paid
• Notify the Superintendent when all tasks on scope are complete for payment processing
• Stock work vehicles to ensure laborers are supplied for daily tasks
• Maintain a neat, clean job site following all OSHA requirements and Apex policies and procedures

Accountabilities

• Skilled in communication, organization, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, conflict resolution, and cost management
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, anticipating, preventing, and solving challenges
• Utilize document management software
• Actively practice leadership ability
• Learn, implement, and maintain an understanding of mitigation operations and procedures
• Foster positive relationships with team members and clients, answering questions and resolving issues
• Clean and inspect company vehicles weekly
• Willing to work 48+ hours per week when needed
• On call rotation and during catastrophic events
