Job summary

Dry Force is seeking motivated individuals to join our Houston team as Water Mitigation Technicians. No extensive industry experience is required—we provide training, coaching, and opportunities for advancement.

If you enjoy helping people, working with your hands, and being part of a fast-paced team, we want to hear from you. You will respond to water damage, operate drying equipment and monitoring devices, and document progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly.
• Able to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Restoration, construction, or labor experience helpful.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged.

• Set up and monitor drying equipment.
• Document drying progress using a company device.
• Perform moisture readings and follow restoration protocols.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management.

• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage and emergency mitigation projects
• Extract water and remove damaged, non-salvageable materials as directed
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers
• Document drying progress using a company-provided mobile device
• Perform moisture readings and follow restoration protocols
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
• Drive company vehicles safely while following company policies and traffic laws
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as needed
