Job summary

PuroClean of the Chagrin Valley is seeking a Property Restoration Technician to join our growing team. This newly created role focuses on hands-on, detail-oriented work helping customers through stressful property losses.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in water damage mitigation, fire or mold remediation, or related construction trades. IICRC WRT and ASD certifications are required or quickly obtainable; AMRT/FSRT preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in water damage mitigation, fire damage remediation, or mold remediation.
• Background in construction trades (carpentry, drywall) a strong plus.
• IICRC certifications in Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) required or able to obtain quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, and mold remediation projects at residential and commercial properties.
• Assess damage, develop mitigation plans, and execute drying, demolition and remediation work.
• Operate and maintain restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, moisture meters).
• Document job progress, moisture readings, and scope of work accurately.
• Communicate clearly and with empathy with customers throughout the process.
• Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete jobs on schedule.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices on every site.
