Job summary

Rainbow International of East Stroudsburg is hiring Restoration Technicians to join our team in East Stroudsburg, PA. You will assist with water, fire and mold restoration tasks, operate equipment, and support projects from start to finish.

We offer hands-on training, paid time off after qualifying period, and opportunities for advancement. This full-time role includes flexible shifts and an on-call rotation for after-hours service calls.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restoration and/or construction will be given top consideration, but is not necessary to apply. We will train the right person.
• Have mid-level computer skills and be familiar with Windows operating systems and email.
• Functional understanding of PDAs (smart phones).
• Aptitude for learning new technology and software easily.
• Proficient in the use of Xactimate would be helpful.
• Certified in Water restoration (IICRC WTR) is a plus
• Certified in Applied Structural Drying (IICRC ASD) is a plus
• Certified in Applied Microbial restoration (IICRC AMRT) is a plus
• Ability & Desire to learn tasks quickly

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to locations designated by customers; load and unload equipment; restore the work site to the original configuration when the job is complete.
• Perform regular cleaning services of carpets, upholstery and draperies as needed.
• Establish and maintain a service schedule to meet customer requirements.
• Follow all Environmental Protection Agency and other applicable federal, state and local regulations for disposal of wastewater and chemicals.
• Comply with all verbal and written safety practices including the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment. Read and comprehend all applicable SDSs for chemicals that require special handling and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Maintain all assigned vehicles and equipment to Company published standards.
• Perform other duties as required. These duties may include job functions that are outside the scope of normal job duties.
