Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration is hiring a Restoration Technician I to join the front-line team helping communities recover after damage. You will learn water and fire restoration basics, operate industry tools, and work with experienced teammates to build your skills daily.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, participate in a rotating on-call schedule, and contribute to projects that restore spaces and provide peace of mind to clients.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in restoration, construction, or a related field (cleaning or emergency services experience an asset)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques and equipment
• Proficient in using mobile devices and relevant applications
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Effective communication skills with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
• Valid full class driver's license and clear driver's abstract depending
• Fit test and other safety certifications
• Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification an asset
• Forklift certification is an asset
• Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of PPE including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear

You'll assist with water extraction, demolition, and cleanup while learning to follow industry standards and safety protocols.
