Job summary
SERVPRO of Kosciusko and Noble Counties is seeking a Restoration Technician to respond to property emergencies and perform water and fire damage restoration, equipment setup, and site cleanup. Ideal candidates have handyman or construction experience, reliable transportation, and a willingness to work outdoors.
IICRC certification is a plus; on-call availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required or able to obtain promptly.
- Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Prior restoration or construction experience preferred.
- IICRC certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water and fire damage.
- Evaluate and perform restoration activities such as water extraction, drying, equipment setup and demolition.
- Load, inventory, and maintain vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
- Communicate safety hazards and job-site findings clearly to supervisors.
- Maintain open communication with clients and explain the restoration process.
- Perform restoration and cleanup tasks including water extraction and site cleanup.
