Job summary

SERVPRO of South Frisco/The Colony is seeking a hands-on Restoration/Handyman technician to respond to property damage emergencies and restore spaces to pre-loss condition. You will work in teams, handle water and fire damage tasks, and communicate clearly with clients and supervisors.

This role involves outdoor work, lifting, and operating equipment, with on-call shifts possible evenings, weekends or holidays; IICRC certification is a plus, previous restoration or construction experience

Qualifications

• You have previous handyman or construction experience.
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• IICRC certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up
