Job summary

The IICRC in Grand Rapids is seeking a dependable Production Technician to help restore properties and bring spaces back to life after fire or water damage. You will work with a veteran-led, family-run team and contribute to projects from start to finish.

You’ll load gear, follow safety protocols, and participate in ongoing training to advance your restoration skills and earn IICRC certifications as you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• A solid work ethic, honesty, and accountability.
• Good communication skills—you talk with the team, not at them.
• A High School diploma/GED.
• Restoration, construction, or related experience—plus, but not required.
• IICRC certifications are a strong plus.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness for on‑call shifts.
• Physical readiness for daily heavy lifting and working in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Leads to drive restoration projects from start to finish.
• Load gear, tools, and supplies with precision and care.
• Follow all safety and risk protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Prep work zones and carry out demolition, cleanup, drying, moisture checks, and material removal.
• Coordinate with your team to ensure efficiency throughout each project.
• Wrap up each job with thorough cleanup and breakdown of tools and equipment.
• Keep our warehouse, office, and grounds shipshape through regular maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all gear and vehicles.
• Embrace ongoing training and development to elevate your restoration expertise.
