Job summary

SERVPRO of Birmingham North is seeking a dedicated Restoration Technician to help customers recover from fire and water damage, ensuring outcomes are as if the damage never happened. The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will respond to service calls, assist the crew chief, and help prepare sites for restoration projects while maintaining equipment and vehicle readiness; learning and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Effective oral communication is required.
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check per applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities.
• Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
• Perform production processes following SERVPRO production guidelines per work order and crew chief directions.
• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians.
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site clean and orderly.
• Follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling.
