Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a motivated team member for restoration work in the field. You will respond quickly to emergencies and assist in restoring water and fire damage, setting up equipment, and performing cleanup tasks. This role emphasizes hands-on duties and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have handyman or construction experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn. On-call shifts, including evenings and weekends, may be required to support clients in need.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations (water/fire).
• Perform restoration activities (water extraction, drying, equipment setup, demolition).
• Load, inventory and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards and job-site findings to supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
