Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking an entry-level Restoration Technician to support day-to-day remediation operations on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will perform detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation, following safety and company protocols.

We train the right candidate to advance in the restoration field. The role emphasizes physical work, PPE use, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of performing heavy lifting (50+ lbs).
• Willing to learn remediation and cleaning processes per safety standards.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
• Able to wear PPE and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation work zones.
• Assist with setting up containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation per IICRC and company standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following guidelines.
• Load-in/load-out of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment for a professional environment.
• Follow all PPE requirements, safety protocols, and supervisor instructions.
• Document daily activities, including photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
• Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers and onsite personnel.

We are looking for individuals to perform smoke, fire, and water restoration cleanup. We will train!

Job Summary

You would play a critical role in supporting day-to-day remediation operations. This position is responsible for performing detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial projects involving mold remediation, water damage restoration, fire/smoke cleanup, and environmental decontamination. You must follow strict safety, compliance, and quality standards to ensure all work is completed efficiently, professionally, and according to company protocols.

Responsible for moving business files and boxes; must be able to carefully and efficiently, wrap files and place item on to pallets for transportation. Provide safe transportation for customer property; Perform inspections and complete walk through to ensure proper inventory control for customer property.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation work zones.

• Follow all PPE requirements, safety protocols, and job-specific instructions provided by supervisors or project managers.
• Document daily work activities, including before/after photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
• Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application as needed.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers, property owners, and onsite personnel.

• Experience in moving furniture, files, warehouse delivery or large item delivery (preferred)
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record (preferred)
• Forklift experience and certification (preferred)
• Prior cleaning, janitorial, remediation, or construction experience (preferred not required)—we will train the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
