Job summary

BMS CAT in Gibsonia, PA is seeking an entry-level Restoration Technician to support day-to-day remediation operations on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will perform detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation under safety protocols.

No prior remediation experience is required as we provide training; candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, wear PPE, and work a flexible schedule including occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor.

• Prior cleaning/remediation/construction experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning, wiping, HEPA vacuuming, and debris removal in remediation work zones.
• Assist with setting up containment barriers, negative air machines, HEPA scrubbers, and dehumidifiers.
• Conduct pre-clean and post-clean sanitation in accordance with IICRC and company standards.
• Safely handle and dispose of contaminated materials following environmental and regulatory guidelines.
• Load-in/load-out of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, vehicles, and equipment to ensure a professional and safe environment.
• Follow all PPE requirements, safety protocols, and job-specific instructions provided by supervisors or project managers.
• Document daily work activities, including before/after photos, material usage, and equipment tracking.
• Assist with odor removal, surface decontamination, and antimicrobial application as needed.
• Uphold professionalism when interacting with customers, property owners, and onsite personnel.

Job Summary

You would play a critical role in supporting day-to-day remediation operations. This position is responsible for performing detailed cleaning, sanitation, and site preparation tasks on residential, commercial, and industrial projects involving mold remediation, water damage restoration, fire/smoke cleanup, and environmental decontamination. You must follow strict safety, compliance, and quality standards to ensure all work is completed efficiently, professionally, and according to company protocols.

Responsible for moving business files and boxes; must be able to carefully and efficiently, wrap files and place item on to pallets for transportation. Provide safe transportation for customer property; Perform inspections and complete walk through to ensure proper inventory control for customer property.

Key Responsibilities

• Prior cleaning, janitorial, remediation, or construction experience (preferred not required)—we will train the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
