ServiceMaster Restore is seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to perform mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial properties. You will handle water extraction, drying, debris removal, and content restoration while upholding safety and customer care in loss situations.

This role requires physical labor, willingness to work evenings and weekends, and the ability to operate equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration, mitigation, construction, general labor, or skilled trades.
• Knowledge of water damage restoration, mold remediation, or fire damage cleanup is a plus.
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, fire and smoke mitigation.
• Set up, monitor, and remove restoration equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers).
• Perform controlled demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Clean, sanitize, and restore structural materials and contents.
• Take moisture readings using meters and thermal imaging tools.
• Document job progress with photos and mobile job management software.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and team members.
• Follow OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response services.
