Job summary

SERVPRO of North Bethesda/Aspen Hill/Rossmoor is hiring for restoration roles in Rockville, MD. You will perform water and fire damage restoration, set up equipment, and ensure safe, efficient job sites. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist within the company.

Compensation is competitive with benefits, and promotion is based on performance. This role emphasizes hands-on work, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols during projects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lb regularly and up to 100 lb with assistance.
• Able to climb ladders and work at various heights.
• Capable of working in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
• Demonstrates safety awareness and uses PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform restoration activities including water extraction, fire damage work, equipment setup, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards and job-site findings to supervisors clearly.
• Learn and develop restoration skills to grow within the SERVPRO brand.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work and set up staging areas and equipment.
• Coordinate with management and technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform production tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Complete end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and leave sites orderly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Learn and develop restoration skills to elevate the SERVPRO Brand and grow within the company.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
• Perform production processes as directed.
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave the jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
