The ideal candidate will possess handyman or construction experience and enjoy working outdoors, making a difference in the community. The role requires physical strength, a valid driver’s license, and the willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Previous experience in restoration or construction preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations including water and fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities.
• Maintain work vehicles with necessary tools and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards and job site requirements with supervisors.
• Maintain communication with clients regarding restoration processes.
• Perform water extraction and cleanup tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up.

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
