Job Overview:

We currently have an entry level position for a water damage restoration technician. This job includes a wide variety of tasks related to the cleaning and restoration of damaged properties. We provide 24-hour emergency services, seven days a week to our customers, so you must be able to work late hours and weekends.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Respond to emergency water damage recovery situations.
2. Treat every customer with respect, treating their home better than your own.
3. Assist Crew Chief in extracting water and removing damaged materials.
4. Help set up drying equipment.
5. Monitor the progress of jobs.
6. Assist with cleaning and other related activities.

Qualifications:

1. The ability to work long hours, with most weeks having at least 20 hours of overtime.
2. Able to pass a background check.
3. Able to pass a drug screening.
4. Dependable and punctual; teamwork is essential.
5. Ability to lift 100lbs, as furniture and other items are moved daily.
6. Must be able to write legibly, keep up with, and turn in paperwork daily, and learn to use new computer software often.
7. Valid driver’s license.
8. US Citizen or Green Card holder.
9. Must be able to be on call for 24-hour emergency water mitigation services.

Preferred Experience:

1. Service or construction background is a plus.
2. IICRC and NADCA certification for water is a plus.
3. Any prior training in water remediation is a plus.
