Job summary

Join SERVPRO Northwest and Northeast Cincinnati as a Restoration Technician in a fast-paced, hands-on role. You will support project teams from start to finish, loading equipment, preparing spaces, and performing restoration tasks to ensure quality outcomes.

The position emphasizes strong work ethic, attention to detail, and learning of restoration services, products, and equipment. On-site work includes warehouse duties, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred.
• Custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check as allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies for each project; maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, including staging and equipment setup.
• Perform restoration processes as directed.
• Pack out and process customer contents (furniture, clothing, documentation, etc.).
• Track customer contents using ICAT systems.
• Communicate with supervisors and other technicians to maintain efficient restoration processes.
• Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving job sites orderly.
• Develop expertise in restoration services, cleaning products, and equipment.

Restoration Technician SERVPRO® Northwest and Northeast Cincinnati

Primary Responsibilities

Restoration & Project Support

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies for each project; maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, including staging and equipment setup
• Perform restoration processes as directed
• Pack out and process customer contents (furniture, clothing, documentation, etc.)
• Track customer contents using ICAT systems
• Communicate with supervisors and other technicians to maintain efficient restoration processes
• Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving job sites orderly
• Maintain an organized warehouse space; clean and maintain warehouse, office, and grounds as assigned
• Develop expertise in restoration services, cleaning products, and equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Customer Support & Communication

• Maintain clear, professional communication with supervisors, teammates, and customers
• Support a positive customer experience by delivering quality work consistently

Requirements

Experience & Skill Set

• Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferred
• Strong work ethic and oral communication skills
• Custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check (as allowed by law)

Education & Credentials

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• IICRC certifications preferred

Skills / Physical Demands / Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly; up to 100 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects
• Ability to work with or around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state as needed
