Job summary

IWS Group is seeking reliable Movers/Restoration Laborers to assist with residential moving and cleanup projects. Workers will load, unload, move, and remove household items, including heavy furniture, as part of a team. Some projects involve cleaning out homes affected by fire or water damage.

Responsibilities include lifting 75–100 lbs, working safely, and following crew leader directions. Maintain a clean, organized site and use PPE on all job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry 75–100 lbs.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Comfortable working around homes with fire or water damage.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous moving, restoration, demolition, construction, or general labor experience is a plus.
• Must follow safety instructions and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, load, and unload items weighing approximately 75–100 lbs.
• Work as part of a team to move heavy household items safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload sofas, beds, mattresses, tables, appliances, pianos, boxes, and other household goods.
• Assist with moving furniture and personal belongings in and out of homes.
• Clean out and remove damaged items from homes affected by fire or water damage.
• Follow instructions from the crew leader and maintain a professional attitude on job sites.
• Use proper lifting techniques and follow all safety procedures.
• Help organize, sort, and dispose of damaged materials and household items as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Wear required PPE and follow all job-site safety requirements.
